Silver Card Case Chester 1902
Description - Splendid Edwardian card case with hinged lid, the card case has a beautiful hand engraved foliate engraving on both sides with a central circular vacant cartouche which has faint signs of a monogram which has been polished out, a new initial will hide this the card case has a silver-gilt interior.
The card case is fully hallmarked with the Chester assay, with the letter B, the maker RBs
Condition - The card case is in good condition considering its age and use, there are a couple of very small dinks on each bottom corner, there are no nasty dents, the hinge is in very good working order and the foliate engraving is nice and clear.
