A novelty vintage English recipe cocktail shaker having been professionally restored to it's former glory by our silversmith.

Similar to the American Napier cocktail shakers, this is an English version surprisingly unmarked by the maker, these were usually made for the likes of Asprey or Mappin & Webb. The underside is struck with "Patented in Great Britain, No. 398119" and "Other Patents Pending".

The arrow on the outer sleeve is pointed to the desired cocktail and the ingredients are revealed in each of the windows. The inner canister is plated in gold.

Excellent condition and a good large size with a diameter measuring 3 7/8" and standing 10 3/4" tall. Art Deco in era, dating to c.1930/1940.
