Circa 1900, Sheraton style oval mahogany tray, with a wavy wrap around gallery. At each end are cast brass scrolling lifting handles. The tray has a string inlay border and stylish Rococo and foliate inlay in various woods. In the centre is a large shell which is made in purpleheart (amaranth) and burnt satinwood. The mahogany is fiddleback and has a lovely shimmer. The tray has good colour and is clean.
