Interesting set of four late 19th.c. medieval revival style tapestry panels c.1880. Four matching 24″ x 48″ panels embroidered with figures in courtly dress depicted hunting, hawking, jousting and courting amongst woolwork foliage and surrounded with matching patterned borders. Excellent condition, presented on wooden stretchers with a velvet edge and recessed hanging plates to allow for flush fitting on the wall.
Dimensions: width 24″, depth 1″, height 48″.
