We are selling this well painted 19th Century set of four Chinese bird study paintings. Each one depicts a different indigenous bird perched on a gnarled branch with blooms of cultivated flowers which include lotus, lilly, poppies, tulips and aster which are painted in vibrant colours and housed within a black painted chinoiserie frame which is heightened with a gilt design.

Measuring 19 inches x 14 inches and in good original condition appropriate for age. Please see all pictures as they form part of description.
