Set of eight Georgian style oak ladder back dining chairs. Good quality reproduction, approximately 20 years old. Six chairs plus a pair of matching carver armchairs. Solid oak frames with shaped rungs to the backrests between turned stiles. Curving arms to the carvers on turned supports. Traditional woven rush seat pads (height 18½") which are removable. Turned front legs with pad feet. Joined with decorative turned stretchers at the front and simple spindle stretchers at the sides and rear to make very sturdy chairs. Excellent condition.
