Set of 8 Outstanding Welsh Farmhouse Dining Chairs

A set of eight outstanding Welsh oak farmhouse dining chairs of rare traditional form from the renowned makers of Talwrn on Anglesey.
Without doubt one of the nicest sets of Welsh oak dining chairs to enter the market in years, the elegantly shaped central rail with carved rounders below outstanding and upper rail with pierced diamond and balls detail are simply stunning.
These wonderful chairs are all made from the most wonderfully characterful Welsh Oak and date from c1780 - 1820. They are in exceptional condition throughout and stand at their full original height with a seat height of 18” - the same as modern dining chairs making them very ergonomic.
Displaying the most beautiful rich warm colour and patina with stunning grain throughout. They have clearly been treasured and very well looked after.
They are all nice and tight, lively and strong and free from fault. Perfect for daily use and family life.
They measure 87cm high with a generous seat height of 46cm. Seat depth 38cm. Seat width 46cm
