This is a stunning set of 6 Johannes Andersen for Uldum Mobelfabrik dining chairs in rosewood and leather from the 1960s.

The frames with their organic sculpted backs and tapered legs are made from attractively-figured rosewood which has mellowed into a lovely pale brown colour whilst the seat pads have been given new foam and reupholstered in the finest black leather. The chairs are very comfortable to sit on.

Every chair bears the Uldum and Danish Control label on the underneath of the seat.

Condition: These chairs are in excellent condition with some minor marks commensurate with having been well-looked after for 60 years or so. There are a few blackish splodges on the wood which are due to the natural colouring in the rosewood. All joints are firm and there are no old repairs. The new upholstery meets the latest Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations. Delivery: These chairs can be delivered to anywhere on mainland England & most of Wales for £75 by our delivery man. Any other items which you may wish to purchase at the same time would only incur a small, if any, incremental charge for their delivery. He can deliver to most places on mainland England and Wales and, depending on where he is on his schedule, it may take a few days or up to 4 weeks. Other couriers are available for Scotland and North Wales or where a shorter time frame is required. Purchases can also be collected in person from the Tunbridge Wells area in SE England.
