Circa 1820, set of 3 carved hall chairs, in yew, ash and elm. The chairs are grotesque style with very unusual uprights comprising of cherubs, open fretwork, floral decoration and grotesque faces. The chairs have solid seats with the pegged legs coming through. The legs are simple and chamfered, splaying out from the seat. Excellent colour and condition.
