A very decorative set of 4 Victorian kitchen chairs dating from circa 1850. The oblong top rails are inlaid with cross banding and they have rail backs with a fancy turned and inlaid central bar. They have solid seats and stand on tapered square legs with four stretchers giving maximum stability. Very solid, with wear commensurate with age.

Good condition, very solid, wear and marks commensurate with age. Lovely warm patination to the wood. Two of the chairs have replacement central cross stretchers.
