Stunning English Chair - Scroll Arm - c1835

This very attractive piece of antique furniture offers classic style and is presented is excellent antique condition.

A well proportioned piece with recently upholstered seat in a quality textile. It will serve wonderfully as an office chair, study seat or hallway feature piece.

The chair is a quality example with a strong mahogany frame presenting a pleasing 'buckle' shaped back creating a very comfortable seating position.

Desirable tapered and fluted front legs and moulded front rail indicate the quality of the craftsmanship.

The combination of the sweeping scroll arms and supportive seat offers a rewarding seating experience with the very generous seat height of 48cm (18.9") making this an ideal chair for daily use.

The piece displays beautifully and is solid of joint and in excellent order.
