A very good, Georgian Scottish Silver Tray made by Walter & Patrick Cunningham of Edinburgh and dating from c1790.
The tray is supported on three feet. It has floral scrolling engraved decoration with an armorial crest engraved to the centre with the motto "Deum Cole Regem Serva".
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WPC" for Walter & Patrick Cunningham, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and date letter "k" for 1790/91.
It measures approximately 6" inches (150mm) in diameter.
The weight is 174.1g/6.14oz/5.59ozt.
