Circa 1890, a rare and unusual safe, contained in its original oak cabinet. The cabinet with solid top and moulded edge, to the front there is one large paneled door, inside sits the steel safe with the name “The Colonial Chest” the safe is working and comes with serval keys. Beneath the door is a full-length drawer with panel front brass handle, and the whole piece stand on an enclosed plinth.
