Russian Poljot naval deck watch with paperwork
Russian deck watch by Poljot, with Russian military naval authority paperwork.
The watch has a 22 jewel stem-winding movement, calibre 53303 with swan neck regulator, which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement and the Geneva style stripes on the plates are a nice addition. The movement is protected by an inner cover.
The watch measures 62mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel plated, there is some surface marking to the back and a little rubbing around the edges but overall the condition is good.
The glass is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed Полёт (which translates as flight) and it is in good condition with original blued steel hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in its original wooden box. The top section can be opened to read the watch and the middle section to access the watch. There is a leather covered insert in the bottom section, designed to support the watch and hold it in the correct position, and this insert is a later replacement.
Also included is the Certificate of the Russian Military Naval Authority dated 1979.
