Roman Bronze Dice 14 Sided Roman dice 14 sided legionary dice %%alt5%%
A rare 14 sided Roman bronze dice, found on the Thames foreshore at Queenhith dock in the very late 1970s. This area is now protected so permissions were stopped years ago.
Very nice patination and colour tone due to the Thames mud.
Possibly a legionary gaming dice?

: The term "tetradecagon" comes from the Greek words "tetra" (meaning four) and "deka" (meaning ten), combined with the suffix "gon" (meaning angle or corner).
