Quality Rocking Country Chair - English Beech

This 20th century quality stick and splat back Windsor Rocking chair is presented in stunning condition.

The chair is crafted in well figured beech producing very attractive defined light grain which displays beautifully.

The piece has good seat height (46cm or 18.1") which when combined with strength in the back and arms makes an excellent choice as a regular daily use chair (see images for full dimensions).

A pierced centre splat with triple stick flanking provides the back support below a well defined top hoop. Nicely turned lower risers unite the seat with the supportive arms.

The chair rides upon substantial triple turned legs which are united by a double 'H' stretcher for robustness and durability. The rocker bars are of good length and provide a soothing ride.

This chair will make a charming addition to any home and is a nice example of this classic design. The chair is very comfortable and solid throughout.
