This is a well executed and colourful oil on panel, signed in the lower left hand by the monogrammist R.M. The painting depicts a moorland landscape with rolling hills and the tors silhouetted against the sky, possibly in the West Country.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to identify the artist, so can offer no biographical information about him or her.

The painting has been newly framed in a 2 3/4" deep gold frame and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.

Frame size: 22 1/2" x 16 1/2" - 57.15cm x 41.9cm

Medium: Oils on panel

Condition: Very good. The surface is clean and there is no damage, or craquelure. The frame is new.
