This original c1914 René Lalique design plate is titled "Chasse Chiens". The design features hunting dogs arranged amongst a foliate design to the centre area, and birds in a foliate design round the edge. The designs are intaglio moulded to the underside. All details are picked out in gilt.
The model number is 3001.
"R.Lalique", "France" and "R 3001" are engraved on the edge of the plate (these engravings are also picked out in gilt).

The plate measures approximately 21.5 cm (8.5") in diameter.

The plate is in excellent original condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs noted. There are a few minor surface scratches, one of which is noticeable on the top surface edge of the plate. The gilding is worn as can be seen in the photos.
