For your consideration this rare antique fine academic sacral painting Jesus Christ with Crown of Thorns. The original oil on canvas painting is signed J.J Keene and is dated 1892. The painting comes with the original gilt covered wooden frame.

Condition
The condition is very good. There are a couple of very small bits that have flaked but the colour is good and retains the depth of colour and clarity. Please look at my photos carefully to see this.

The total size with frame is 15 x 16 3/4 inches to the widest points.

This picture came with another J.J Keene 1880 religious painting. Please see my Antique-Atlas shop for details.

Dimensions
6.5 x 22 cm.

Condition
The silk is in very good condition with only minimal age marks. The frame has damage to one corner which can been seen in the photos.

The photos can probably provide the clearest representation of condition so please examine these carefully.
