This is a late Regency armchair with an elegant faux bamboo design to the pale solid walnut frame. The chair is in good sound condition with no loose joints or breaks to the frame. The legs are raised on period brass cup castors with solid porcelain wheels. The later fabric covering is in poor condition. This would be a tasteful chair with new cushions upholstered in the right fabric and is a relatively easy project.
The chair measures 38" high 25" wide 25" deep. The seat area is 20" wide between the arms by 23"" in depth and the seat height is 18".
