An antique Regency “Trafalgar” open armchair in mahogany dating from circa 1810. With rope twist centre rail, out-swept sabre legs to the back and turned legs to the front. The stuff-over seats have been recently recovered. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Condition Report
Some slight give to the frame at the front legs. Warm patina to the mahogany. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Recently recovered over existing upholstery – would benefit reupholstery. Some old worm holes to the back of the seat rail which have been terated wih worm killer as a precaution. Small section of veneer missing to corner of top rail (see photos).
