Regency Rosewood Side Table On Brass Lions Paw
Fabulous quality Regency rosewood card table or console table on these wonderful brass lions paw feet (which can be polished up if you would rather), circa 1820.
There is a spring catch or lock which when pressed releases the swivel top and once in place, it hold it secure.
Rich consistent colour throughout the table and the brass contrasting so well with the rosewood.
The interior of the table is worn as you can see, which I have left as is as these tend to rarely ever be used, but again, if you would rather this be replaced, please do just let me know.
Lovely quality and super decorative piece of antique English furniture.
Measuring:
29 1/4 inches of 74.5 cm high
36 inches or 91.5 cm wide
17 3/4 inches or 45 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
