An excellent heavy quality, Regency period, rosewood folding card table with a superb original colour and polished surface. The top and legs are all inlaid with satinwood. The top opens out and swivels to reveal an interior surface which is covered by a baize inset. The table stands on a turned column with four swept legs terminating in their original brass castors. This table is in excellent strong condition. The baize has been replaced. Sizes:36”(92cms) wide, 18”(46cms) deep, closed, 36”(92cms) deep, opened out, 28 ½ “(72cms) high. Date circa 1815. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
