A Regency mahogany and later painted bergere library armchair. Having a curved back rail and swept arms the chair retains the original rattan split cane upholstery with a new top quality hand dyed hide and feather filled cushion. The chair has been painted at sometime in a Regency style green paint with particularly good gilded highlights and is raised on turned and fluted front legs with out swept back legs terminating in brass cup castors. The new cushion will fit better with age and use. Dimensions:- Max.Height…37’’/ 94cm. Width…22’’/ 56cm. Depth…27’’/ 68.5cm. Seat Height…17.5’’/ 44.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
