A magnificent antique Regency open armchair or desk chair in mahogany dating from circa 1820. The carved oblong top rail above a carved centre rail, with generous scroll arms, it stands on out-swept sabre legs to the front and back. The drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Good condition. Solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered.
