An antique Regency open armchair in mahogany dating from circa 1820. With reeded top rail and back supports with pireced and inlaid centre rail, out-swept sabre legs to the front and back. The stuff-over seat has been recently reupholstered – although it does have some marks to it. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Solid and sturdy. Warm patina to the mahogany. Wear and marks commensurate with age. The stuff-over seat has been recently reupholstered – although it does have some marks to it so would benefit recovering. A well executed old repair to front leg.
