A fabulous Regency gilded convex mirror, surmounted with a spectacular carved winged dragon standing on a rocky base and flanked by hippocampi. The original mercury glass plate is surrounded with an ebony reeded slip. The base of the concave frame is decorated with beautifully carved acanthus leaves. The condition of this Regency mirror is very good, the mercury plate has, over many years, acquired a very soft mottling, whilst this adds to the character and appeal, the reflective element is retained. A rare and exquisite mirror that would add style to any interior.
