Regency Brass Inlaid Faux Rosewood Elbow Chair
Antique Regency brass inlaid faux rosewood elbow desk chair or carver.
A great rare find and very decorative.
Dates from the first half of the 19th Century and has those sought after sabre legs.
Solid, heavy and strong with no loose joints.
Good new reupholstery in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light cream/oatmeal colour.
Overall maximum dimensions
52cmW x 56cmD x 86cmH (43cmH seat, 67cmH arms).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. Some of the brass inlay is missing (filled) and one small finial is missing from the top of the back (see pics).
