As rare as Hen's Teeth! - This is a fabulous tiny little powder compact, from the Royal Army Medical Corps - measuring a mere 1.3/8" inch diameter and made of brass - all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a clean inside and a tiny blue powder puff - the mirror is better than the pictures suggest from reflections but has some loss of silvering to the edge, it is attached to a strong ribbon, and would probably have been worn around the neck during service. In super antique order, it has only a couple of minor pings to the rear, commensurate with age and pre-use. Very nice, difficult to find and sure to delight the most discerning of collectors
