Rare Scottish school brass mirror with motto and two cherubs. The motto reads "If this were vanity who then be wise". This mirror carries at brass label to the reverse
SKELMORLIE ARTS & CRAFTS 1905. I cannot find any information regarding this Art class other than an art school exists there today in Scotland.
It measures 47cms in diameter with the original mirror plate measuring 25cms.
Offered in totally original condition which is slightly primitive to the reverse.
