Rare Pugin Design Seat dating from the 19th century. This has been purchased in the past few days locally in Devon and has been stored in a barn for several decades. The most likely use would have been for an auctioneer, though it could be a very early set of tennis umpire steps, or starters seat at Point to Point. Any suggestions, please let me know.
