A rare Irish side chair circa 1780 made from a cuban mahogany. On the back are 2 carved birds possibly parrots that have an almost comedic look to them and a nicely shaped front rail which is all typical of Irish furniture of this period. The drop in seat is in excellent condition.

A heavy, solid chair with the legs joined by an H-stretcher.

Height - 38" / 92cm
Height to seat - 17.5" / 44cm
Width - 21" / 53cm
Depth - 16" / 41cm
 All items are checked by our restoration team and any work is sympathetically carried out. Therefore condition is excellent, commensurate with age and items are ready to go straight into the home for immediate use. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or request additional pictures.
