This is a stunning and very rare handmade Persian Senneh-Tabriz Boteh design wool rug.

It is very elegant design comprising all over repeated floral pattern which would look spectacular in a house with Arts and Crafts or Art Nouveau furnishings. The rug is around 90 years old and is a collectable piece.

Senneh (also spelt Senna) pile rugs are probably the finest of rugs from Kurdestan in western/northwestern Iran known for their fine knotting, attractive motifs and colour palette.

Size: 200cm by 260cm excluding the long fringes

Condition: It is in very good condition with no damage and good pile. It has been professionally washed and is ready to place in your home.
