Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
A rarely seen 19th century sedan plantation chair.
Victorian late 19th Century.
Designed for carrying people. The passenger would be carried by four people, each holding a handle to each corner.
Very elegant in design and a great very interesting conversation piece.
In excellent condition. Lovely character and patination to the beechwood, the caning is in excellent condition.
The dimensions are.
Height-88cm. Height to top of seat-47cm.
Width-47cm
Depth-136cm. Depth of seat-44cm.
