Rare 1781 English Leather Dictionary Languages
For your consideration this rare 1763 antique leather bound English Dictionary of the English Language.
Peculiarly calculated for the use and improvement of such as are unacquainted with the Learned Languages!
Printed for London Toplis & Bunny in St Paul’s Churchyard and J Mozley, Gainsbrough.
Condition
The book is over all in good condition. The leather covers have some wear as illustrated in the photos. The leather covers and spine have a good deal of wear which is commensurate with age and use. The back cover and last page has become detached from the book. The pages are all present. The interior is tanned from age with foxing and staining. All in all a very rare dictionary but with some wear and damage.
Dimensions - 22 x 15 x 6.5 cms
The photos can probably provide the clearest representation of condition so please examine these carefully.
