An enchanting brooch / lapel pin which was made to celebrate the coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. This wonderful brooch is fitted with a beautiful portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth on the front cover. As you open the brooch twelve gorgeous black and white photographs are revealed set on concertina card. The photographs capture the splendor and magnificence of the ceremony and also the good will of the British people who lined the route of the procession.

The booklet is beautifully gilded. It suspends from a gilded bow which is fitted with a pin and clasp. All the catches and hinges work perfectly.

From the top of the bow to the bottom of the booklet brooch measures just under 5 cm. Weighs 12.2 grams.
