A wonderful and near-mint condition card case made from black Crocodile or Alligator skin, with a good glossy patina. Two little dots are impressed to ensure the top and bottom are joined correctly.

Once the lid id removed, the green pleated interior is gold embossed by the top notch London silversmith, Mappin and Webb, Oxford Street.

Dating to around 1900/1910. 4 1/4" x 2 3/4"
