Delightful little primitive Welsh stick back chair c.1790. Ash back over a beautiful thick elm slab seat with obvious old wear to the top and an adze-cut bevel to the underside. Raised on three ash legs cut with a draw knife rather than turned. Great rustic character and good condition with some earlier repairs.
