Primitive Comb Back Stick Chair in Sycamore Welsh Irish Stick
This stick chair is a really sweet piece and dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is well patinated and very strong and stable and quite usable. The seat is of sycamore and the sticks, legs and comb are in ash.
There is a small amount of old worm as is often the case with period sycamore, this does not detract from it's strength or charm, the colour and look of this chair is just right. It is free from any replacements or repair.
