Primitive Antique Pig Oil Painting in Gilt Frame.
This lovely, English mid 19th century oil painting is painted on tin and is mounted in the original deeply moulded gilt frame.
This period antique oil painting is in such good condition, on the reverse is a label with an inscription, 'farmer looking adoringly at pigs'!! Paper label reads 'The Cottage Stye' described on page 13 of Memoirs of the life of Geo. Morland by J. Hassell, published by Jas. Cundee, Ivy Lane, Paternoster Row, 1806'.
