A rare pocket barometer with a very unusual black dial, signed Callaghan & Co., 23a New Bond St, Corner of Conduit Street, London. The original gilding to the entirety of its case is in superb condi-tion. The setting knob rotates the bezel indicator and when pushed down flicks open the rear stand.

Comes together with its original, leather, silk lined travelling case.
