Pair Victorian Walnut Balloon Back Chairs
A magnificent pair of antique Victorian walnut balloon back chairs dating from circa 1870. Good quality examples with beautiful ornately carved and pierced central splat and crisply carved top rails. They feature stuff over seats and shaped cabriole legs with carved knees and feet. A pair of high quality chairs in good original condition, solid and sturdy with good patina and fabulous colour.

Good condition, solid and sturdy and upholstery is clean and sound. Good original patina. General wear and marks commensurate with age. A few old worm holes underneath that have been treated and filled with wax.
