Pair Of Victorian Mahogany Salon / Bedroom Chairs
Here are a delightful pair of late 19th century mahogany Victorian salon chairs.
c1880.
Having very pretty shell carved decoration to the centre splat, with elegant pierced carved cresting, having an oval upholstered panel below.
Elegant serpentine shaped front rail.
Standing on front cabriole supports.
Covered with a rich blue damask fabric. Traditional horse-hair filling.
The condition is very good, solid and sturdy, minor signs of use consistent with age. The fabric is almost as new.
The dimensions are.
Height-83cm. Height to top of seat pad-41cm.
Width-48cm.
Depth-49cm.
