This fabulous pair of oak Bergere chairs hails from the fantastic Victorian era. The chairs feature high backs with Bergere panels, surrounded by beautiful carvings and barley twist uprights. The carved open arms are supported by additional barley twist uprights, and the seats rest on barley twist legs, all united by a barley twist H stretcher. With the addition of a wonderfully wide carved front rail, these chairs are both solid and attractive, making them a striking and elegant addition to any room. As with all antiques there are imperfections however these only add the pairs character and charm. Their craftsmanship and design of a bygone era, making them truly captivating pair.
