Very attractive pair of early 20th.c French painted salon armchairs c.1930. Carved and painted wooden frames with shaped arm fronts and raised turned and fluted legs to the front and rear. Upholstered in a blue and white Regency stripe silk damask with Chinese pattern detail. Sprung seats with generously filled loose cushions. Original paint work, worn in places. Excellent condition with very clean covers.
