Quality pair of Regency style walnut armchairs c.1930. Heavy solid walnut frames with scrolling ends to the backrest and arms and unusual applied brass mounts. Generously proportioned seat raised on reeded front front legs with brass feet and castors and sabre back legs. Frames are in good unrestored condition, very solid and sturdy. In need of reupholstering, the silk damask covers being marked and worn in places with a couple of small holes in one of the seats.
