Pair of Painted Armchairs c.1910 %%alt5%%
Good looking pair of French Louis XVI style painted armchairs c.1910. Padded backrests and arms over sprung seats with loose feather filled cushions. Recently recovered in a smart black and grey patterned chenille. Pale grey painted wooden frames with carved floral and guilloche mouldings and scrolling acanthus leaves to the front. Tapering square front legs with fluted detail to each side. The joints at the top of the backrest have opened slightly though they remain solid and sturdy with no movement. Obvious old wear to the paintwork. Generally very good condition with clean covers.
Dimensions: Width 25" Height 35" Depth 25".
