A good pair of Regency black painted and gilded elbow chairs. The inset top rails having unusual splats of lyre form with gilded decoration, the open arms having further gilding and white painted outlines. The cane seats are in very good condition with swab cushions above. The chairs are raised on ring turned and out-swept front legs and plain back legs. Condition- good with slight wear to the arms associated with age and use. Dimensions:- Height…33''/ 84cm. Width… 21''/ 53.5cm. Depth… 22.5''/ 57cm. Seat Height…17.75''/ 45cm.
