Circa 1920, good pair of oak Wheeler gossip chairs. The classic Chippendale style back has an open splat, over the original drop in seats. The back legs are slightly oustwept and the front legs are square and tapering, united by an H stretcher and a cross stretcher at the back. Very stylish and popular in the 1920s.
