A rare and informative pair of quality period Ship portraits, illustrating a known Sailing Vessel from both Port and Starboard sides, and rigged for working in differing conditions.

The portraits show the 2 masted Gaff Ketch, 'Eva' of London. Captain J Voysey. This was a coastal vessel, possibly a Post Boat or a Pilot Boat.
One portrait shows the vessel heading out to sea, in choppy weather rigged with reduced sails. The other is in full sail returning to land in calmer conditions.
